**Meet The “BEAR”**– Jim and his wife Melba McCollum, fondly known as the *Bear* McCollum family, moved to Clayton, NM in the 80’s to manage 1450 AM KLMX. Jimmy became the owner and created 97.5 FM- THE BEAR in 2014, a lifelong dream of his. Jim Bear McCollum passed in 2020 leaving his wife Melba the business now totaling 2 radio stations heard on 3 tuners: 97.5 FM the Bear, 104.5 FM and 1450 AM Crossroads Christian Radio.
