Saturday, September 14 is International Observe the Moon Night. Come out to experience Capulin Volcano National Monument in a new light! Learn about lunar geology, moon myths and legends, and the park after dark as you take a ranger guided hike around the rim of the volcano! The hike will begin in the Visitor Center parking lot at 7:30pm and will last about 2 hours; the hike around the rim is 1 mile.
Reservations are required, so give them a call with the number of people attending to reserve a spot!
