Moore stated: From Fallen to Freedom “ is made up of a group of guys that had fallen and hit rock bottom but decided to better (with) our lives and start a band in the process. We are playing shows here and there but probably (will) do alot more this summer.”
Their song “Petty” was written by Richard Moore himself. He stated: “I wrote that song the day that Tom Petty died. ( I ) Was watching TV and the(y) announced it on a news break. I (sat) down that evening and put it together in honor of him.(We) Just finally recorded it this past year. The folks really love it when we play it live. His music had a big impact on me.”
